Assistant Finance Officer
Job Overview
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare and process payment, receipt, journal and adjustment vouchers.
• Check bills, invoices, receipts, quotations and supporting documents before payment processing.
• Assist in maintaining project-wise financial records and documentation.
• Assist in monthly payroll preparation, salary sheets, staff deductions and related financial documentation.
• Prepare and maintain bank and cash reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor budget versus actual expenditure and identify significant variances.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide required financial documents.
• Enter and maintain accounting data in Tally ERP/Accounting Software.
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting documents for management review.
•Coordinate with program and administrative teams regarding budget, expenditure and financial documentation.
• Support procurement and payment processes from the finance perspective.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
• Perform any other finance and accounting-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Age 25 to 30 years
Educational Requirement
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Experience
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
