About the Role

Eduwires is looking for an experienced, responsible, target-driven and leadership-oriented Branch Manager who can manage the overall performance of the branch while also directly counselling students.The branch manager will be responsible for student counselling, lead conversion, team supervision, university applications, admissions, financial guidance, visa-processing oversight, branch operations, reporting, and business development.This is a hands-on management role. The selected candidate must be able to independently counsel students, handle complex student cases, guide junior counsellors, monitor branch performance, and ensure that students receive professional support from initial counselling through enrolment and visa outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Conversion

  • Personally counsel students interested in studying in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
  • Assess students’ academic background, English proficiency, career goals, financial capacity and study intentions.
  • Recommend suitable countries, universities and courses.
  • Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes, living costs and application timelines.
  • Provide guidance to both students and guardians.
  • Handle complex or high-value student cases where senior-level counselling is required.
  • Conduct both face-to-face and online counselling sessions.
  • Regularly follow up with prospective students through phone, WhatsApp and email.
  • Convert suitable enquiries into applications, enrolments and visa submissions.
  • Maintain strong student relationships throughout the complete process.

Branch Management & Leadership

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Eduwires branch.
  • Supervise counsellors, admissions staff and other branch employees.
  • Allocate leads and student cases to relevant team members.
  • Monitor staff follow-up, counselling quality, applications and conversions.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Train junior counsellors and staff on counselling, admissions and visa-related processes.
  • Ensure all staff follow Eduwires policies, processes and compliance standards.
  • Support staff in resolving complicated student, university or visa-related cases.
  • Maintain a professional and productive working environment.

Lead Management & Sales Performance

  • Monitor all leads generated through Facebook, website, referrals, walk-ins, events and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure every lead is properly recorded and followed up.
  • Review conversion rates and identify areas for improvement.
  • Follow up personally with important, high-potential or pending students.
  • Develop strategies to increase applications and enrolments.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to improve lead quality.
  • Achieve agreed individual and branch-level recruitment targets.

University Applications & Admissions

  • Review and supervise university applications prepared by the counselling and admissions teams.
  • Personally handle applications when required.
  • Check academic, English-language and supporting documents before submission.
  • Monitor pending applications and outstanding documents.
  • Guide students regarding conditional and unconditional offers.
  • Support students with offer acceptance and tuition-fee/deposit payments.
  • Ensure relevant enrolment documentation is obtained, including CAS, COE, Offer of Place or equivalent documents, where applicable.
  • Maintain communication with university representatives and admission teams.

Financial Guidance & Documentation

  • Assess the financial readiness of students and sponsors.
  • Explain tuition fees, deposits, living expenses and estimated total study costs.
  • Guide students regarding suitable sponsors and financial documentation.
  • Review bank statements, fixed deposits, income documents, sponsor documents and other supporting evidence.
  • Check whether financial documents are reasonable, consistent and properly prepared.
  • Ensure students and guardians clearly understand financial requirements before proceeding to visa stage.

Visa Processing & Compliance

  • Provide senior-level guidance on student visa preparation for the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
  • Review visa document checklists and supporting documents.
  • Check academic, financial, sponsor, and personal documentation before visa submission.
  • Review visa application forms and supporting statements.
  • Guide students regarding medical examinations, TB tests, biometrics, OSHC, IHS and other relevant requirements.
  • Conduct or supervise mock interviews where required.
  • Ensure information across all documents remains consistent.
  • Review files before final visa submission.
  • Monitor submitted applications and support the team with additional document requests or case updates.
  • Ensure all visa work follows official immigration requirements and Eduwires’ internal compliance procedures.

Team Targets & KPI Management

  • Set and monitor individual targets for counsellors.
  • Track counselling, application, offer, deposit, visa, and enrolment performance.
  • Ensure counsellors maintain proper follow-up with prospective and active students.
  • Identify underperforming areas and take corrective action.
  • Provide regular coaching and performance feedback.
Suggested Branch-Level KPI:
  • Achieve agreed monthly application and enrollment targets.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of active students.
  • Ensure timely follow-up of all assigned leads.
  • Maintain required standards for documentation and compliance.
  • Meet quarterly visa-submission and student-enrollment targets.
  • Support individual counsellors in achieving their respective targets.

Reporting & Student Tracking

  • Ensure all student leads and cases are properly maintained in Microsoft Excel, CRM or Eduwires’ internal tracking system.
  • Monitor counselling, applications, offers, deposits, visa submissions, and enrolments.
  • Maintain updated records of pending documents and follow-ups.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly branch performance reports.
  • Report branch performance, conversion, revenue pipeline and challenges to management.
  • Maintain accurate staff performance records.

Business Development & University Relations

  • Maintain professional relationships with university representatives, aggregators, and partner organizations.
  • Attend university training sessions, workshops, and partner meetings.
  • Develop new student recruitment opportunities.
  • Support management in strengthening institutional partnerships.
  • Coordinate university representative visits, spot assessments, seminars, and counselling events.
  • Represent Eduwires professionally in external meetings when required.
  • Stay updated on scholarships, admissions policies, visa developments, and market changes.

Marketing & Promotional Activities

  • Work with the marketing team to plan student-recruitment campaigns.
  • Participate in seminars, webinars, education fairs and promotional events.
  • Support promotional video and social media activities when required.
  • Encourage the counselling team to contribute educational content.
  • Provide market feedback regarding student demand, popular courses, and destination trends.

Requirements

  • Age At least 27 years

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in overseas education counselling, student recruitment, or international education is required.
  • Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Team Leader, Senior Counsellor or similar senior role will be preferred.
  • Strong practical knowledge of UK, Australia, New Zealand and/or Malaysia education systems.
  • Strong student counselling and conversion skills.
  • Experience in university applications, admissions, and visa processing.
  • Good understanding of student financial documentation and sponsor requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team-management ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of both English and Bangla.
  • Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email, CRM systems and university/visa portals.
  • Ability to handle multiple student cases and team responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Target-oriented, organized, proactive, and accountable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of branch performance.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience handling multiple destinations, particularly UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, will be given preference.Experience managing a counselling team and achieving student recruitment targets will be highly valued.
