Job Responsibilities
A leading A-Category Publicly Listed Company is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented professional to join its leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Job Location: Dhaka (Adjacent to Uttara 3rd Phase)Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance & Accounts function and provide strategic financial leadership to the organization.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial performance analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS/IAS and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, banking, working capital, and financial risk.
- Ensure compliance with BSEC, DSE, CDBL, NBR, VAT, The Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors, regulatory authorities, banks, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee tax, VAT, customs, and other statutory compliance matters.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the Managing Director, Board of Directors, and Board Committees.
- Support strategic business decisions, investment proposals, cost optimization, and profitability improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, export-oriented, or publicly listed companies, with proven senior finance leadership experience as CFO/Head of Finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS/IAS, corporate governance, and capital market regulations.
- Experience in dealing with BSEC, DSE, CDBL, NBR, external auditors, banks, and financial institutions will be highly valued.
- Strong understanding of treasury, banking, trade finance, taxation, VAT, customs, and working capital management.
Educational Requirement
- ACA/CA Advanced Level or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized professional body.
Experience
- 12 to 15 years
