Job Responsibilities
Context:
- One Pharma Ltd. embarked on its pioneering journey in November 2015 with a focus on incorporating cutting-edge manufacturing technology and producing globally acclaimed pharmaceutical products for the patients of Bangladesh and beyond. One Pharma Limited is looking for some experienced, reliable, honest & dedicated candidate for the position of Junior Officer, Engineering department for its factory (BSCIC, Bogura).
- Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Breakdown Maintenance (BM) of pharmaceutical process machinery as per the approved PM schedule and the instructions of the supervisor.
- Carry out inspection, servicing, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of machine components as required.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of Tablet Compression Machine, Granulation Machine, Encapsulation Machine, Tablet Coating Machine, Blister Packing Machine, PFS Machine, Liquid Filling Machine, and other production equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system faults, and escalate complex problems to the supervisor.
- Check and maintain motors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, valves, pneumatic cylinders, sensors, VFDs, and electrical panels.
- Identify abnormal noise, vibration, temperature, leakage, pressure, and other machine abnormalities, and report them promptly.
- Record maintenance activities accurately and on time in logbooks, checklists, work orders, and other GMP records, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP/ALCOA+).
- Follow approved SOPs, cGMP requirements, safety procedures (including LOTO/permit-to-work), and engineering instructions.
- Use appropriate PPE and maintain proper housekeeping and safety in the maintenance and production areas; ensure the work area is cleaned after maintenance.
- Handle, store, and maintain maintenance tools, instruments, and spare parts properly.
- Coordinate with the Production Department during maintenance and breakdown activities.
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Age At most 33 years
- Only Male
- Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience in the maintenance of pharmaceutical process machinery.
- Practical knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of mechanical components such as bearings, gearboxes, couplings, shafts, belts, chains, pumps, valves, and pneumatic components.
- Basic knowledge of motors, sensors, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical control panels.
- Ability to identify and rectify mechanical and basic electrical faults.
- Basic understanding of GMP, Good Documentation Practices, and workplace safety.
- Experience in a similar position will be considered an added advantage.
Educational Requirement
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from any government polytechnic institute.
