Job Responsibilities
- To mentor students in academic growth, research activities, and professional development.
- To provide academic leadership within the department and actively contribute to faculty development and strategic planning.
- To participate in and contribute to the activities of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), including self-assessment, program review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- To lead and support initiatives for national and international accreditation and institutional ranking.
- To ensure that course content remains current, research-driven, and relevant to both academic and industry developments.
- To engage in curriculum development, academic audits, and policy formulation processes in line with the strategic vision of the university.
- To represent the university at national and international academic events, collaborations, and exchange programs, enhancing institutional visibility and reputation.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the university authority.
- To prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, and develop curriculum.
- To conduct classes as assigned by the department.
- To take class tests, quizzes, and exam.
- To evaluate students’ assignments.
- To set question papers and to evaluate answer scripts.
- To attend departmental and general meetings.
- To counsel students and to work in a team environment.
- To perform any other work assigned by the University Authority.
Educational Requirement
- PhD (Doctor of Philosophy)
- Masters
